Michael J. Hibberd

Chairman & Independent Director

Mr. Hibberd has extensive international energy project planning and capital markets experience. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of MJH Services Inc., a corporate finance advisory company founded in 1995. Mr. Hibberd currently holds directorships in the following public companies: Canacol Energy Ltd., Greenfields Petroleum Corporation, Sunshine Oilsands Ltd., Montana Exploration Corp., PetroFrontier Corp., and PanOrient Energy Corp., all publicly traded entities listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”) or the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Hibberd was previously Chairman of Heritage Oil Plc, Heritage Oil Corporation and Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. He currently is the chairman of the board for Canacol Energy Ltd. Mr. Hibberd was also a director of Deer Creek Energy, Zapata Energy Corporation, Iteration Energy Ltd., Avalite Inc., Sagres Energy Inc., Rally Energy Corp., Skope Energy Inc. and Challenger Energy Corp. From 1983-1995, he was Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Finance for ScotiaMcLeod.

Mr. Hibberd obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Western Ontario, was called to the bar in 1983 and is a member of The Law Society of Upper Canada.

Terry McCallum

Independent Director

Mr. McCallum is a Professional Geologist who began his oil and gas career over 20 years ago. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Freerein Resources. Mr. McCallum has founded several companies in the oil and gas sector including Draig Energy, Markedon Energy, Monroe Energy, Norma Jeanne Energy, Glamis Resources & Torquay Oil. Mr.McCallum was successful in raising over $150 million dollars in various capital structures to support these start up companies and executed sale agreements exceeding $550 million providing a 5x return rate track record for investors. Mr. McCallum has held various senior level positions throughout his career and has also branched into real estate, agriculture lands, hotel and restaurant industries. Mr. McCallum also holds directorship roles with the Believe in Gold Foundation and Al Azhar Shriners Mounted Patrol. Mr. McCallum made the discovery of the year in 2004 for the Richdale Banff A pool. While at Glamis and Torquay, Mr. McCallum discovered 14 new pools in SE Saskatchewan. Overall Mr. McCallum has discovered more than 500 bcf of gas and over 40 MMBbls of oil in his career.

Mr. McCallum is a Professional Geologist (P.Geo) receiving his B.Sc from the University of Saskatchewan and is registered with APEGS and APEGA and is member of the CSPG, AAPG, and SPE.

Farzad Ovaici

Technical Advisor to Board of Directors

Farzad is a registered professional engineer with APEGA with over 40 years of experience in downstream oil refining and petrochemicals. He has held the positions of Chairman, CEO, member of the Board of Directors and Manager for various companies.

Farzad’s extensive experience in the middle east includes reconstruction of the world’s largest refinery post Iran – Iraq conflict. This included leadership and management of over 12,000 staff and project budget of $1.2 BUSD.

Farzad graduated from the Shiraz University with Masters degree in Chemical Engineering. Farzad also has a Masters Degree in Chemical & Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary.
